The Olympics and Paralympics are global phenomena where athletes fall prey to the headlines - good and bad.
INSIGHT
With the rise in social media, athletes now have a powerful
tool to create their own narrative.
BIG IDEAS
Prior to the Paris 2024 Games, we brought 147 Olympians and Paralympians to Paris’ Palais de Tokyo for a crash course in authentic social storytelling.
During the Games, we created reactive social media content to support the narratives our Team Visa Athletes wanted to be told.

My role: Concepted event activations, briefed global team of creatives on content capture, coached 147 elite athletes on social video transitions, conducted interviews, and edited content for Visa’s social channels.
We encouraged our Team Visa Athlete's to post their messy failures, "silly little TikToks," and the social video transitions we taught them onto their own social pages. In these 3 videos, two of our star students, Niko Kappel and Khaddi Sagnia, generated 1.5M Impressions, 21K+ Likes, and 338 hype comments praising their relatability and authenticity on social.
Not only did I get to work with incredible yet surprisingly down-to-earth elite athletes, I can tell my mom that one of my campaigns was highlighted in Forbes 🥹
